Shirt & Tie - DMP Unblend Challenge

6 x 8" Canvas Panel / Oil
Haven't been to the easel in months.  Excited to have created this piece for DMP's no blend challenge.  Trust me, it was a challenge.  Hope you're having a great summer.  Take care, and God bless.

5 x 7 Canvas Panel / Oil - Sold

For the month of March, I'm going Monochromatic.  Got inspiration from the DPW challenge this week.  Truthfully, I'm starting to love the affect of working with just black and white.  Keeps you focus on mixing, and spot on value placement.  Hopefully by the end of March, I can submit more Mono's in different colors.  Thanks for stopping by.  Stay Blessed!

Michael Jordon - WIP (Late Christmas Gift)

I wanted to share my latest painting. I didn't know what to get Gun's sister for Christmas. This girl has everything. Soon, she'll be opening a Sports Bar in Brooklyn. She's such a sweet and giving person.
Her favorite is Michael Jordon. So I found this photo in black and white. Mostly a gray scale, and doing the painting in a different way. The figure is going to be in a warm gray scale and the clothing will be in color.  Planning to finish by tomorrow so it can be dry in time.  Will post finished painting soon.  Why we wait to so late to get last minute stuff...lol?
